Summer is here and the beer is flowing!
Charters Bar on the river at the Town Bridge launch their own Summer Beer Festival on Thursday August 25 running through until bank holiday Monday August 29.
With 20+ real ales, locally and nationally sourced, 10+ ciders and 30+ gins to try and plenty of music and entertainment lined up, their huge beer garden will be buzzing.
Things kick off on Thursday with their Pub Quiz from 8pm, Friday night is Vinyl Night with DJ Derek Gibson from 8pm playing out all the indie, new wave, punk, glam rock and more from across the decades.
Local legend, DJ Eddie Nash will get your afternoon livened up from 3pm until 9pm on Saturday with everything from funk and rare groove to disco and ska.
The bank holiday weekend entertainment continues on Sunday afternoon with live tunes from Latino Sound from 3 - 6pm playing Latin funk, jazz and party to get you up and dancing.
It’s free entry to the festival and great summer vibes are guaranteed.
