Do you fancy yourself as the next Brad Pitt or George Lucas? Do you have a keen interest in all things film, music and entertainment? Here’s how you can break into these dynamic areas at a unique industry networking event in Peterborough.
It’s time to mingle with like-minded people, share ideas and draw some good old fashioned inspiration at the Creativity Connected Expo.
The event, taking place at the Key Theatre in Peterborough on Saturday October 31, is being run by United Creative Arts (UCA) – a social enterprise founded by Peterborough guy Leon Mitchell.
Leon explains:“Creativity Connected Expo is the first in a new set of events aimed at anyone who wants to break into entertainment, film and music and after 15 years in entertainment, it’s clear to see one thing still holds the number one position to success – networking!
“The event is open to everyone and anyone wanting to get into film and the media, either acting in front of the camera or behind the scenes. Students, families, actors, anyone and everyone.”

UCA also puts a focus on supporting those in poverty who have significant talent or ideas by raising funds to support creative projects and the expo aims to bring actors, directors, producers and film students together to share ideas and draw inspiration from guest speakers.
“The charity angle in general raises money to support and give grants for significant ideas that can have impact on society, with a focus on those – but not limited to – who are in poverty.”
Leon also produced the much anticipated film Zombies In Tha Hood and us lucky lot will get to see a trailer of the movie and meet the cast at the expo.
The film is an urban comedy which will have people from all ages laughing out loud and even stars local celeb, gymnast Louis Smith.
Entry to the expo is just £3 and for more info you can
