If the kids love Thomas this half term is the last chance to see him for a while!
Thomas will only be at the railway for another few months as he’s offto ‘Locomotive hospital’ in the middle of this year and won’t be welcomed back until almost the end of 2014. All steam locomotives need a thorough overhaul every 10 years and the children’s favourite is no exception.
The time it takes might seem surprising but when it comes to overhaul, what people imagine to be a little blue engine is in reality quite a big blue engine!
Thomas will be in steam at his Wansford station home (PE8 6LR) on February 9 and 10, and on February 12, 13 and 14. Then again on February 16 and 17.
