The marquees are going up and the excitement’s building for the 42nd Peterborough Beer Festival!
Despite the unpredictable weather the big build is underway and the site’s taking shape for another brilliant event next week.
The annual festival kicks off on Tuesday August 20 and runs through until Saturday August 24 on the Embankment.
The five-day event also features a gin bar, cider and perry, wine bar and much more.
Thanks to the local branch of CAMRA and a host of amazing volunteers the Peterborough Embankment will soon be home to the biggest bar in the ‘boro.
We can’t wait and as usual the ESP team will be helping to judge the beers, photographing you all having a great time…. and enjoying a tipple or two ourselves of course! After all it’s one of our favourite events of the year.
It’s not just about the best Real Ales from around the UK – over 350 of them – but also world beers and a host of great entertainment.
There’s fairground rides, carnival games, live music, a variety of foods and soft drinks… there’s something for everyone.
It’s all kept in tip-top condition under giant marquees by their expert team of beer keepers so don’t fear the weather.
As ever there’ll be a fantastic mix of live music on offer throughout the week too. See our Gig Guide for the full list or head to www.beer-fest.org.uk.
