There’s a special event this weekend to mark the rebrand of Peterborough Garden Park to Peterborough One Retail Park and they’re bringing the carnival to the centre.
To celebrate the launch of Peterborough One Retail Park, there’s a free to attend carnival-themed event on Saturday July 22 and Sunday July 23 compered by Heart FM.
The weekend will include a raft of activities for the whole family, including children’s craft workshops, face painting, fairground rides, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall, soft play areas, a ball pond and competitions. And once you’ve worked up an appetite, there’ll be a range of food and drink stalls on offer, including candyfloss and popcorn vendors, a waffle wagon, a BBQ and freshly made pizzas.
Conceived in 2010, Peterborough Garden Park won several prestigious awards, including the Revo Gold Award for ‘Best Out-of-Town Retail Scheme in the UK’. Building on these successes, the retail park has been reimagined for 2017. Having undergone significant improvements, the venue’s been transformed into Peterborough One Retail Park – the ‘one destination’ shopping and leisure experience for the whole family.

Peterborough One Retail Park has something for everyone, including a variety of fashion, garden, home and leisure retailers. There are seasonal activities, craft fairs, frequent in-store promotions and events. In addition, Peterborough One Retail Park plays host to a traditional car boot sale every Sunday.
To enhance what’s on offer the centre’s had a complete rebrand, including a new user-friendly website and refreshed social media pages. There is also the promise of new retailers and leisure providers, along with a refreshed events programme.
There’ll be a large stage area hosted by Josh from Heart FM, which will see a variety of shows and events to ensure you’re kept entertained. This will include personal appearances from PAW Patrol’s Chase and Marshall!

Saldance Theatre Arts is about to enter into its 40th year in Peterborough and continues to offer excellent dance classes for everyone from tots to adults.
