Here’s you chance get fit and festive with the Santa Stroll and Run…
If you’re looking to add a bit of festive cheer to exercise next month then how about signing up for the 5k Santa Stroll and Run on Sunday December 20?
Entrants receive a free Santa suit on the day and Ferry Meadows Country Park will be covered in a sea of red as hundreds take a stroll or run the 5k route.
The event starts at 11am and proceeds go towards the Peterborough Dementia Action Alliance, which is a partnership of local organisations working to support people to live well with dementia.
Every runner gets to keep the Santa suit and receives a commemorative medal for their efforts.
Entries can be made online at www.pdaa.org.uk or by post by picking up an entry from the Visitor Information Centre on Bridge Street in Peterborough.
Adult entry is £15 and children aged five to 14 is £10. Family entry (two adults and two children) is £45.
