Get ready to welcome Santa to town!

Santa will be arriving at Dobbies in Hampton by horse and carriage at 11am on Sunday November 20. Get there early to wave in the big man in red and enjoy the magical parade which will be thrown to welcome him.

Once Santa and his elves have arrived at the store and said hello, they will head to his enchanting grotto where little ones can meet the man himself. Amongst the activities on offer, there’ll be real reindeer, live music and family entertainment. You’ll also have the chance to meet and take pictures with Dobbie, the over-sized tenth reindeer character.

Samantha Bannister, Community Champion at Dobbies Peterborough comments: “Santa’s arrival is one of the most exciting days of the year at Dobbies and it’s always lovely to see the amazement on the kids’ faces. There is a fantastic turn out every year and it’s always a really fun day, with the community coming together to celebrate the start of the festive season.”

Dobbies National Christmas Charity Partner, Teenage Cancer Trust, will also be taking part in the parade. Volunteers will be selling delicious cupcakes and charity stamps for your letters to Santa to raise money for the charity.

Linda Noon, Head of Fundraising at Teenage Cancer Trust, adds: “The team at Dobbies have shown so much passion for Teenage Cancer Trust. We know it’s going to be a really fantastic event, our volunteers, staff and customers have been so incredibly generous and supportive of us and we are so grateful. We would urge everyone to come along and indulge in some festive fun.”

Teenage Cancer Trust makes sure the seven young people aged 13 to 24 diagnosed with cancer every day, don’t face it alone. They provide world-class cancer care and support in specialist units, local hospitals and in homes across the UK. The charity is there at every stage, from diagnosis through treatment and after treatment and they bring young people together so they can support each other.

Dobbies has a varied events schedule running across the Christmas season. To find out more visit
