Queensgate Shopping Centre has launched an exciting new initiative called Q Go, an easy-to-pay contactless car parking system.
Similar to an Oyster Card, a Q Go card, available from the customer information desk, can be topped up with credits and used by simply presenting the card at the entrance and exit of Queensgate’s car parks.
Designed to remove the need to queue at payment machines, Q Go is free to register and can be done so at the customer information desk outside John Lewis or by emailing customerservice@queensgatecm.co.uk. A personalised Q Go card can be created and ready to use on the same day.
“The introduction of Q Go will improve the complete customer experience at Queensgate, from start to finish,” says Centre Director, Mark Broadhead. “The contactless system will allow our customer to freely come and go as they please, without the need to queue to make payment at the machines, which I know will be welcome news.”
Queensgate has been successfully trialing the system for a month and is now ready to roll out Q Go to people in Peterborough.

Parking is free in all Queensgate’s four car parks when entering after 5.30pm on Thursdays and Fridays for late night shopping, which finishes at 8pm. Queensgate’s late night shopping until 8pm Monday to Friday is now underway.
