ESP is once again partnering up to support Pop Around Peterborough, a fun fundraising event in aid of Arthritis Research UK…. are you ready to join us?
If you fancy an easy stroll setting off from a pub, a great atmosphere and the chance to win loads of prizes whilst having a good time, this is the easiest event to take part in!
Pop Around Peterborough launched last year and saw 200 walkers raise over £6,000. The charity wants you, your friends, family, and even the pet dog to take part…
This year it’s being held on Sunday May 19 and it starts and finishes at The Boat House Pub.
It’s a great opportunity to stretch your legs on a scenic 5 mile route – you’ll be given a balloon which you pop at the finish line to find out if you’ve won a prize.
These include some great family days out, meals in local restaurants, vouchers for local stores and loads more!
Michael Clarke, the event organiser and Regional Fundraising Manager for Arthritis Research UK told ESP – “Arthritis Research decided on the walk being five miles as it’s challenging yet manageable for most ages.
“There are over 10 million people in the UK right now suffering from Arthritis, so nearly everyone will know someone close to them affected.
“Everyone can help make a change to people’s lives by signing up to this walk.”
Entry for Pop Around Peterborough is just £5 per person which includes a fantastic goodie-bag and the chance of winning many prizes worth hundreds of pounds.
