If you enjoy belting out a tune in front of an audience or just with your shampoo in the shower, Peterborough Voices wants you!
The group are looking for forty women from Peterborough for their third Sing for Life fundraiser in aid of Sue Ryder’s £6m Thorpe Hall Hospice appeal. The fortunate forty will rehearse for sixteen weeks ready for a gala charity concert hosted by none other than BBC Cambridgeshire’s Jane Smith on October 4 at The Voyager Auditorium, Peterborough.
“Sing for Life 2014 is not only an exciting musical opportunity for forty lucky ladies, but it’s also a fantastic way to help raise funds for one of our favourite local charities. I’m just delighted to have been asked to join in!” said Jane.
Intro sessions will be at The Broadway Theatre on Friday June 13 from 7pm until 9pm and Saturday June 14 from 10.30am until 12.30pm.
“Sing for Life is open to absolutely everyone and training will be provided. We’ve got a fantastic team of professional vocal coaches and mentors who will have everyone up to speed in no time!” said director Will Prideaux.
So if you can hold a tune and would love to perform, call Roz on 07411 275578 or email sing4life@peterboroughmvchoir.org.uk.
