NEW NAME FOR CAR EVENT AS IT RETURNS TO PETERBOROUGH

Here’s one for all the Peterborough petrolheads – Modified Nationals and the National Hod Rod Show are back under the umbrella title ‘Autofest’.

The newly rebranded event is a two-day festival and lifestyle event at the East of England Arena & Events Centre on May 30 and 31.

If you’re car fan this is definitively one for you! It’s entirely devoted to customised vehicles and culture and will be packed with exciting driving demonstrations, static displays indoors and out, live event stages, club stands, plus a tattoo convention and traders, all taking place throughout the venue’s indoor and outdoor event spaces.

Guaranteed to get pulses racing, Autofest also features three live stages of DJs and Music, the DJ and Show Hall Competition stage, dozens of American Low-Riders and the world-famous The Wall of Death.

Autofest is offering free entry for children and there’ll be plenty of bouncy castles, children’s rides, face-painting and other family-friendly activities and entertainments to make sure there’s something for everyone.

The newly re-branded event is brought to us by motorsport specialists No Limits Events & Promotions Ltd.

Jason Lunn, East of England Arena’s venue director, welcomed the new show to the Arena, saying, “Autofest has all the ingredients for an amazing family day out, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming Peterborough’s motorsport enthusiasts and racing fans for what promises to be an exciting event for everyone.”

Fast-track tickets are available now, and the gates open at 9.30 am on both days. Tickets and more information about the many other attractions and features on offer for this exhilarating experience can be found on the East of England Autofest website http://auto-fest.co.uk/  or Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/EastofEnglandAutoFest
