It’s the last few days to grab early bird tickets for the big Peterborough Fireworks display this November 7.

It’s the first time in years that the city will see such a large scale display and it’s coming to the Embankment, brining a professional display by Komodo Fireworks right into the heart of the city centre.

The limited Early Bird tickets include FREE CHILDREN ENTRY TICKETS. The event will feature two fantastic displays, music, entertainment, funfair, food and plenty of opportunities to make magical memories together.

A specially created children’s display will feature family favourites choreographed to music, with a more considerate selection of effects for younger ears. Later in the evening, Komodo Fireworks will ‘Paint the Sky’ with a spectacular 18-minute fully choreographed main pyromusical display.

A limited number of Early Bird tickets are available at the lowest prices, so families are encouraged to book soon before they sell out.

Event Manager Jane Sosbe said - “We wanted to create an event that Peterborough families could genuinely enjoy together without it costing a fortune.

“Our Early Bird tickets are designed to keep the event affordable, so families can enjoy a brilliant night out, with two professional displays, music, entertainment and food all in one place.

“For the price of a relatively small box of retail fireworks, families can come along and enjoy a spectacular show that is bigger, brighter and professionally managed.

“We want people to bring their coats, hats, gloves and biggest smiles, meet up with friends and family, and enjoy that wonderful feeling of watching fireworks paint the sky together.”

The event comes as the Government considers tighter controls on some fireworks available to the general public.

In July, the Government announced proposals including restricting access to the loudest fireworks and considering further restrictions on certain higher-risk consumer products.

The proposals also recognise the important role of professional public displays, which would be allowed to continue.

The organisers say professional displays are carefully planned, take place at a known time and location, and are delivered within controlled firing and spectator areas. This means residents, families and pet owners can know when fireworks are expected, rather than being surprised by fireworks going off unpredictably over several nights.

Komodo Fireworks, the professional display company behind the event, has extensive experience delivering large public fireworks events and specialises in fully choreographed pyromusical displays.

Jane Sosbe added - “We know people love the magic of fireworks, but we also understand why unexpected fireworks can be difficult for residents, animals and vulnerable people.
