NEW ADDITIONS AT DOCTOR WHO THEMED EXHIBITION

ree

Hold on to your sonic screwdrivers – Adventures in Time & Space, an Unofficial Doctor Who Exhibition at Peterborough Museum & Art Gallery, has regenerated with new artefacts, set to exterminate boredom this summer!

ree

Two iconic characters from classic episodes have landed at the exhibition - Lord Kiv, the slug-like villain from Season 23: Trial of a Time Lord and a Quark, one of the robotic foes first seen in Season 6, Episode 1: The Dominators.

But that’s not all - on Tuesday July 29, fans will be able to step back to 1976 with the arrival of a meticulously recreated wooden TARDIS console — just like the one used by Tom Baker’s Fourth Doctor.

Brought back to life using original design blueprints, this recreation has been engineered by the talented team at ARU Peterborough’s Engineering Department, making it a truly timey-wimey addition for the exhibition.

It’s open throughout the summer, with tickets priced at just £5 for adults and £3 for under 16s — proving you don’t need a time machine to find great value experiences the whole family can enjoy!

And this Sunday July 27,  Doctor Who actress Sophie Aldred, aka ‘Ace’, companion to Sylvester McCoy’s Seventh Doctor — will be making a special appearance for: Caught in Conversation: Sophie Aldred. Join Sophie as she shares stories from her time on Doctor Who and discusses her new book: ACE JACKET: The Inside Story. There’ll be a live interview, audience Q&A and a chance to purchase signed copies of the book and autographed photographs.

Sessions are at 10am and 2pm and tickets are £12 per person (Entry for Adventures in Time & Space, an Unofficial Doctor Who Exhibition sold separately).
