Staff at Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre will be embracing the rich heritage of the farm this month showcasing some traditional skills.
No idea how to make bread or shear a sheep – just head along to Sacrewell Farm this month and all will be revealed!
Join professional sheep shearer Ross Priddle at the Farm on May 11 and 12 for the Sacrewell sheeps’ annual trim!
Can you guess the weight of the fleece to win a family ticket back to the Farm?
The kids will also enjoy following the sheep trail to win a mask, learning some woolly facts and meeting this year’s lambs.
Then on May 25 – 27 the Farm joins forces with the Green Festival showcasing milling and breadmaking with the rangers taking over the Grade II* listed 18th Century Watermill to show you how things were done when the mill was an integral part of the community.
