LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP TO POP-ULAR EVENT!

Extra prizes have been flooding in for Pop Around Peterborough – the charity walk where you can win a prize just for taking part – and Mugly ‘the world’s ugliest dog’ will be there too!

The 5 mile countryside walk is all in aid of Arthritis Research UK –  it’s back for the 3rd year and ESP Magazine is backing the event.

What makes this easy going event a little different is that all walkers are given an Arthritis Research UK balloon, which they ‘POP’ once crossing the finish line, to find out if they have won a prize.

The latest prizes added to the list include a corporate suite at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium, £10 to spend at Barrista, a tour with lunch at the Peterborough Cathedral, signed merchandise, and shop vouchers.

Sounds good to us, plus you get some fresh air (you could even walk the dog at the same time!) and can enjoy a pint afterwards.

There will also be an appearance from Mugly ‘the world’s ugliest dog’ www.uglymugly.co.uk/new/

It all starts at the civilised time of 10.30am on Sunday June 29 from the Boathouse pub, Peterborough.

Plenty of people are already signed up to the walk, but the charity’s hoping for more participants to make an even bigger difference to the charity – which takes the pain away from sufferers of all forms of arthritis and helps people to remain active.

Entry for Pop Around Peterborough is just £5 per person which includes a fantastic goodie-bag and the chance of winning many prizes worth hundreds of pounds.

Simply write a cheque out to ‘Arthritis Research UK’ and send it (along with your contact details) to Michael Clarke, Regional Fundraising Manager, 55 Huntsmans Gate, South Bretton, Peterborough, PE3 9AU. Walkers will then be sent a welcome pack with full info.

Don’t miss out this year. As you can see from last year’s pictures below – the event is family friendly, and even ideal for your pet dog.
