If you love horses this year’s eighth Equifest in Peterborough looks set to be the biggest and best yet!

Equifest provides a fabulous five days of demonstrations from August 12 – 16 and is also a brilliant shopping occasion. Taking place at the East of England Showground, Peterborough this year the event sees several new innovations including, displays and demonstrations as well as top class showing and shopping.

Equifest is perfectly timed to treat everyone to a brilliant outing during the holidays with both fantastic equestrian entertainment and family fun on offer.

For dog lovers, make sure you watch the ‘Dog and Duck’ display, involving sheepdogs herding ducks – great entertainment and it should be quite useful too!

The 3Sixty Bicycle Stunt Team is brilliant to watch as they put on breath-taking dare devil action that will keep everyone on the edge and wanting more.

Another action packed sport that’s quickly gained massive popularity is Horseboarding, an equestrian sport in which a rider on a horse tows a board rider on a mountain board.

Many local riders will be involved in the displays and competing throughout the event.

The new demonstration arena will host an array of great displays including para dressage Olympic gold medallist Natasha Baker, leading event rider Ben Hobday, Parelli Natural Horsemanship and the exciting Heavy Horse Display.
