Sacrewell Farm near Wansford will be celebrating Wildlife Week from May 24 – June 1.
Go along to dabble at pond dipping, wade your way around the pond to the bird hide to see what you can spot on their bird watching trail, discover what they’ve caught in theiur humane mammal traps and take part in their fun farm activities including the duck race and the lamb national.
Colour in a beautiful butterfly picture, cut it out and hang it up to form your own Sacrewell rare butterfly collection.
While you’re at the farm jump on a bumpy tractor ride to discover what is being grown on the farm this year and how important wildlife is in the way organic food is grown.
Their regular scavenger hunt and wildlife trail will also be available from reception. Test your wildlife knowledge as you circuit the farm on the wildlife trail, answering all of our themed questions and return your answer sheet to exchange it for a fabulous wild prize.
The new Sacrewell Play Barn is now up and running and Origin8 at Sacrewell Farm have just opened a new drinks and snack outlet in the barn so that parents can sit back and relax while their children play.
The Farm is open every day from 9.30am – 5pm.
