It’s time to party to celebrate the 18th anniversary of popular city venue The Solstice – and the ESP Paparazzi team will be there on Saturday March 21 to capture the action.
It’s been 18 years since The Solstice first flung open its doors and the venue has consistently drawn in the crowds, proving popular with two generations of night scene revellers.
Today’s Solstice is arguably the busiest it’s ever been and that’s due to it being historically a no-nonsense fun place to visit no matter what your taste in music or venue might be.
It’s not stood still and has opened out with the introduction of the SolGarden and soon there’ll be a fresh addition with the opening of Eden – another bar area which will have a hydraulic roof!
Manager Kevin Jeffery told ESP – “I believe the Solstice has been such a success because the local owners continually invest in the venue, over 18 years we’ve had many make overs – the Radius venue upstairs has evolved with the times also. The SolGarden really made us the destination venue for the people wanting to come eat or drink in the city centre and be outside while doing so. The team dynamic we have here – the bar staff, security and management entertainment team are all one big family.
“With regards to our music policy we have always made the main room commercial with the latest chart songs and classic old tunes, the small areas the Lounge is more rock and Indie style – whereas the garden supports live music and house music.”
Take a look for yourself this Saturday March 21 when their regular DJ Steve Andrews presents Dance Anthems Night with very special guests Alex P and Seb Fontaine. Plus the ESP Paparazzi will be in the house around 10pm so get your smiles on folks!
Entry’s free and it promises to be a birthday party to remember. See you there.
