Recreating the excitement and buzz from behind the scenes at a fashion show, Backstage Live is a bustling extravaganza of the latest trends in fashion, beauty, hair, nails and makeup – it’s the ultimate experience for any fashionista!
Free to attend and located in Central Square in Queensgate, the event starts at 11am and will feature some of Queensgate’s hottest fashion names. Confirmed so far are: Next, Oasis, Warehouse, River Island, Primark, The Body Shop and Monsoon, with many more to be unveiled.
Shoppers can get expert advice on the latest trends for SS16 – what’s hot and what’s not, free hair styling, tips and advice, and free makeup and beauty consultations from some of the biggest names in the industry.
Plus, Queensgate’s spotters will be scouting the malls to find the next Q Style Icon, who will feature in the Autumn/Winter edition of Q Style magazine. The winner will be treated to a full makeover and styling before starring in their own photo shoot around Queensgate.
Event organiser and Marketing Manager at Queensgate Shopping Centre, Laura Sayer, said: “Imagine London Fashion week and everything that goes on behind the scenes to get the models catwalk-ready – this is what we’re creating for Backstage Live! This will be the place to ask experts for fashion advice on what to wear, how to create a desired look and possibly get spotted to be our Q Style Icon.”
Customers can book a one-to-one stylist appointment by visiting the Queensgate website, or simply head along and listen to one of the 10 minute masterclasses taking place hourly throughout the day.
Local bloggers will also be attending on the day to give live updates, explore the latest trends and give their own top tips and style advice for SS16.
