GET ARTY AT THE SOLSTICE THIS SUNDAY!

Ready to head to Wonderland?

Emerge, a local group encouraging new artists, are inviting you to head down the rabbit hole to visit Wonderland; a takeover day and bbq of live music, art, games, poetry and madness at The Solstice on Sunday October 11, from 2pm to 11pm.

Headlining this fabulous and quirky event will be a 5 piece original rock band from Peterborough called The Endeavour. The Endeavour formed in the Summer of 2013 and are primarily a rock band incorporating pop elements and have been described as a band that incorporate punchy drums, soaring guitars and huge pop melodies, infused with a rock sound that will get you both nodding your head and singing along!

Wonderland will take over the five areas of The Solstice throughout the afternoon and evening with over 20 national and local performers including national spoken word artist, Adam Kammerling who has played the likes of Glastonbury and Latitude; daytime headliner, Paolo Morena, who has headlined at festivals and gigs across the UK and The Cube, a virtual reality experience by Circa69 back from their European Tour. Local talent on the day includes international artist Charron Pugsley-Hill, illustrator Amanda Rigby, Jason Duckmanton and street artist Rob Clarkson.

In creating such an outlandish event, Emerge hopes to continue to raise the profile of arts and entertainment in the city and offer opportunities for emerging artists to showcase their work as well as providing people of Peterborough weird and wonderful events and experiences.

Tickets for Wonderland range from free – £6 and are available to purchase via Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wonderland-tickets-18860263556

Wonderland are also offering discounted entry and half price bbq vouchers are available to all Perkins Great Eastern Run and Anna’s Hope Fun Run runners on producing their medal at the event.
