FUN FOR ALL AT THE AUTUMN FOOD AND COUNTRY FAIR

If you love animals, classic vehicles, outdoor pursuits, shopping, food and even err… giant veggies, the Autumn Food and Country Fair has it all!

As the only event of its kind in the region, the Autumn Food and Country Fair is almost 40 years old and still going strong attracting 10,000 people last year.

It’s held annually at Peterborough Arena at the East of England Showground and this year’s fun family event is on Sunday October 9.

There’ll be fun for the kids with super star Shetland Pony, Thunder Pants, showing the crowd his moves in the main display ring from dressage to music, showjumping and fancy dress.

Plus for animal lovers not only are there shire horses, dog shows and bird of prey displays but the event’s become the home of The Supreme London Championships Small Livestock Show in recent years, billed as the rabbit world’s equivalent of Crufts!

There’s plenty of shopping with dozens of trade stands and food stalls and you can marvel at the huge veggies in the popular East of England Giant Vegetable Competition.

There’s free parking and gates open at 8am. Advance tickets are on sale now priced adult £8, senior citizen £6, child (aged 5-16) £4, family £20 (2 adults, 2 children).
