A new free guide to street art in Peterborough is being launched with the chance to join the artists on a guided tour.
Several new impressive artworks have appeared on walls throughout the last few months and now they’ve been brought together in a free Art Trail map to encourage everyone to see them all.
The free tours have been organised by Peterborough Positive with Peterborough Civic Society and art fans can book on to one of two events where artists Nathan Murdoch and Tony Nero will be on hand to tell you all about the designs.
You’ll hear the stories behind them, find out why they were chosen and why they adorn particular buildings brightening up our city centre.

Pep Cipriano, Chief Operating Officer at Peterborough Positive, said – “Street art has become an important part of our city centre’s identity. This new map makes it easier than ever for people to explore these vibrant works and appreciate the cultural history and creativity behind them.
We are excited to launch the map with a free guided tour alongside artists Nathan Murdoch and Tony Nero, and the Peterborough Civic Society, showcasing how street art has transformed everyday city centre spaces into cultural landmarks. The tour gives people the chance to hear the stories behind the designs directly from the artists and learn more about what inspired them.”
Printed maps can be collected from the Tourist Information Centre at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery, the Town Hall, and a digital version is available to download from the Peterborough Positive website.
The guided tours will take place at 10.30 am on Saturday February 28 and Saturday April 25.
