FANTASTIC NEW CRAFT FAYRE

If you’re looking for some unusual gifts and want to support local artists a new Craft Fayre this month could be well worth a look.

What’s more, you can shop and browse with some great live music too!

Natalie Stockwell, one of the organisers alongside Moises Sanchez from Platz Gallery told ESP – “We met through a mutual friend and wanted to organise a Fayre to sell our own work and also involve as many local crafts people  as we could in a collective. There has been a positive response and we currently have 14 exhibitors wishing to take part, including local artist Muni who makes some beautiful Mosaic pieces and exciting Latvian born artist Katie Timosenko.”

The event’s open to the public from 10am until 4pm with FREE ENTRY on Saturday October 19. There’ll be a variety of affordable work on sale from local artists including paintings, drawings, craft, photography, graphics, up-cycled furniture, greetings cards and jewellery.

It’ll be a family friendly event with art based activities for children running throughout the day as well as live acoustic and vocal performances.  There will also be a refreshment stand serving tea, coffee and cakes. Plenty of free parking is available at the front of the hall at St. Marks, 82 Lincoln Road, Peterborough, PE1 2SN.

Give it your support and if this one is a success they plan to run more in November and December which would be  a great chance to pick up some affordable and unique gifts on the run up to Christmas.
