Pets win prizes at Sacrewell Farm fun day!
Prizes galore are in store for the winners of the Family Fun Dog Show at Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre on August 3rd.
With “fun” being the word of choice for organisers, classes on the day include Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Waggiest Tail, Best Young Handler and Golden Oldies*. The winner and runner up of each class will be automatically entered into the Best in Show class.
This year’s show is part of the Family Fun Pet Day held at the Farm where people can bring their pets along for a fun day at the Farm!** Their rangers will also be on hand to talk to you about the pets they have there in the Animal Village including Ferrets, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Degus, Mice and even a Horsfield Tortoise called Sheldon!
The Farm has teamed up with local businesses to provide some fantastic prizes for winners in the dog show. Winners will get treats such as a photography session with your dog, a dog grooming session, a dog hydrotherapy session, one-to-one training and a huge basket of goodies!
In between classes First Class Dog Training from Deeping will be running dog agility displays in the arena and there will even be the opportunity to have a go yourself! Red Wellies Photography from Peterborough will also be there doing pet portraits and snapping the day’s events.
Event co-ordinator Daisy Rivetti said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s event as we’ve taken the show to the next level and introduced a wider variety of fun classes. And to top it off, dog handlers get into the Farm for free!
“We’d like to say a big thank you to all the companies in the area that have helped us so far and we hope to see you all at the show!”
