ENJOY A SUMMER OF STORIES AT QUEENSGATE IN PETERBOROUGH

Everyone loves a good story and as part of the Year of Reading events in Peterborough, Queensgate Shopping Centre will be bringing some great tales to life from July 29 – August 9.

Get your little ones’ literary juices flowing at Queensgate Shopping Centre this summer, with a free event filled with book characters, family storytime and crafts!

From the giant inflatable Boris the Bookworm to Story Soup adventures with Wendy Wordsworth, and Humpty Dumpty’s storytelling and parading Egg Soldiers, there’s something for everyone happening at Queensgate.

There’ll be a Giant Book Nook library area with cushions and beanbags, plus a magical forest of woodland characters from modern and classic fairy-tale, not to mention bookmark-making, cartoon-character designing and story-writing.

The event’s taking place to support the Vivacity Summer Reading Challenge 2019 event which aims to get the people of Peterborough reading more.
