Dobbies at Hampton is getting in the spirit of Christmas with a special fundraising evening where you can shop this year’s new range in aid of its national charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust.

Activities on Thursday October 18 night include demonstrations on how to build a living wreath with succulents and how to create a Christmas terrarium as well as a traditional planted container. There will be a variety of exclusive offers and entertainment throughout the night as well as decorating tips from Dobbies’ in-store experts. Hamper stations will also be set up to help shoppers create a truly bespoke gift for loved ones.

Dobbies has chosen Teenage Cancer Trust as its first ever annual national charity having teamed up with the organisation for Christmas 2015 and 2016 to raise over £350,000 over both seasonal periods. On the night, look out for the charity’s wish tree baubles where, for a small donation, guests can write and place wishes on Dobbies’ in-store Christmas tree.

Teenage Cancer Trust makes sure the seven young people aged 13 to 24 who are diagnosed with cancer every day don’t face it alone. They provide world-class cancer care and support in 28 specialist units and designated local hospitals across the UK so that young people can get support wherever they live. The charity is there at every stage, from diagnosis through treatment and after treatment and they bring young people together so they can support each other.

The event will run from 5pm to 9pm and tickets are available to purchase in-store in advance or on the night. Tickets cost £1 and all proceeds will go to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Dobbies Christmas events schedule also includes the much-anticipated Santa’s arrival on November 18 and Ladies Night on November 29. To find out more visit https://www.dobbies.com/whats-on
