This year’s event at the East of England Arena in Peterborough is set to be a great weekend for all bike fans so don’t miss out.
The big event on May 13 - 14 will see huge manufacturer test fleets, a full weekend of proper racing, stunt shows, club zone, a massive retail area, the bargain barn, live music plus a massive classic auction.
It’s easy to see why the Devitt Insurance MCN Festival is one of the biggest and best loved bike shows in the UK and it will be right here in the city.
If you’re thinking of buying a new bike this year's Festival includes huge 2023 model test fleets from BMW, BSA, Cake, CCM, Harley Davidson, Herald, Honda, KTM, Triumph, Yamaha and Zero. Getting a test ride is easy, there’s no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day with your licence and riding kit and head to the manufacturer area to sign on.
There’s plenty of action to watch over the weekend with The Dirt Track Riders Association holding a full round of championship racing at the Festival. Races on the speedway oval include everything from Rookie and junior classes (7-11 year olds) right up to Electric bikes, Vintage and the dramatic Hooligan class.
The wackiest race series in the UK returns to the Festival with an insane mix of home modified mopeds, fancy dress and no-holds-barred racing. The madness kicks off on Sunday at 12 noon.
The huge stunt shows are always spectacular and this year's stunt line up is bigger than ever with the Bold Dog FMX team in the speedway arena, Two Brothers Racing, JD Stunts and Lee Bowers in the Bull-it Jeans stunt zone PLUS the Festival Debut of the On The Edge trials stunt team. The stunt shows run three times each day so you won’t miss any of them!
In the club zone there’s mammoth single-make owner clubs such as Ducati, Triumph and Honda to the smaller regional clubs the club zone will be packed with a ton of great bikes and the UK’s most knowledgeable experts.
You can also bag a bike bargain in the barn where you’ll find pocket friendly deals on premium brands and end-of-line kit. With hundreds of discounts on everything from race leathers to casual branded gear it’s the ideal time to stock up for the new riding season.
As part of the entertainment at the show there’ll be chilled live music throughout the day on the Harley Davidson outdoor stage. Campers get access to the Harley Davidson evening venue and bar on Friday and Saturday night with music from top local bands.
Silverstone Auctions will put over 100 tempting bikes under the hammer on Sunday, from classic Brits to cutting edge race bikes and everything in between. The auction kicks off at 12 noon, the lots will be available to view before the show online at www.silverstoneauctions.com
