COMEDY SPECIAL @ NORTH STREET BAR

Funhouse Comedy brings a Christmas Special night of comedy to North Street Bar, Peterborough on Wednesday December 17.

Headlining the night is the effortlessly engaging, Andrew Bird. Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. With his personal appeal and superbly crafted, funny anecdotes he captivates his audiences. He’s supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst as well as performing internationally.

Supporting will be the very lively and genial Gerry K. Having performed stand-up all over the world he still found time to fit in some TV appearances and you may recognise his face from TV’s ‘The Bill’ and ‘FHM Comedy Heroes’. His humorous stories and factual tales are told with a ‘twinkle in the eyes’ and leave his audiences crying with laughter.

Completing the line-up will be the loud and sharp, sometimes foolish Fin Taylor who does warm-up for TV’s ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ and ‘Pointless’, as well as the controversial Bambam Sheikh. Never afraid to share his somewhat offensive views on race, his clever use of words and twinkle in his eye allows the audience to unearth the humour.

The energetic Ben Murray is MC for the evening with his cheeky, chatty and upbeat style.

Tickets are £10 in advance, 7.30pm doors, 8pm start.
