CLASSICAL REFLECTION LAUNCH CONCERT @ PETERBOROUGH CATHEDRAL

Don’t forget Peterborough’s own amazing soprano twin sisters, Classical Reflection are performing at Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday May 13.

After jumping into the limelight after Ricky Wilson secured them on his team for The Voice on the BBC, they’ve gone onto bigger and better things.

Their debut album, The Vow was successfully toured nationwide. The twins Naomi and Hannah and their angelic voices have gone on to sell out concerts throughout the country.

Echo, the girls’ new album was recorded at the Cathedral and they’re returning for their launch concert.

Naomi and Hannah told ESP how important it is for them to have their album launch in their home town –  “It was a privilege to record our album here in this stunning and very beautiful building and important to us to support our local heritage.

“We realised after performing for the Cathedral’s lunchtime recital series last summer that acoustically it is second to none.”

Their new album Echo is set to be a good one as the sisters have recorded with the West End musical director Adrian Sutcliffe and Ely Sinfonia Orchestra; so it’s definitely worth a buy!

It will be available on the night of the concert as well and can be personally signed by the duo if you’d like a meet and greet session after the concert.

The album is being released in support of the Alzheimer’s Society with 50% of the profits from sales being donated.

“We are looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and some new ones at the Cathedral,” the girls continued, “and are excited to be working with Alzheimer’s this year.

“We felt it was an extremely important charity to support as it’s the main disability that people suffer with later in life.

“Incredibly music has the power to unlock long forgotten memories even in people with severe Alzheimer’s that have stopped communicating.”

At the launch concert there’ll be special guest appearances including BBC Radio 3 award winning Huntingdon Male Voice Choir, classical guitarist Chris Sommerfield and dancers from Saldance Studios.

Don’t miss this captivating concert. Tickets are £15 and £12 concessions, available from Peterborough Visitor Centre, Bridge Street on 01733 452336, their website www.classicalreflection.co.uk or Oundle Box Office on 01832 274734.
