If you’re looking for things to do over Easter there’s an exciting, free, family circus event heading to Peterborough.
It’s the first in a series of events and activities organised by Peterborough Positive, the city’s Business Improvement District (BID) and it’s great to see things happening right in the heart of the city once again.
Professional circus and theatre group, Dizzy O’Dare, will be staging the free family-friendly spectacle in Cathedral Square on Saturday April 8 and it looks set to be a great show.
Dizzy O’Dare is a contemporary circus and outdoor theatre company, established in 2009.
Over this time, they’ve toured extensively and will perform three 30-minute sets throughout the afternoon, with the first show kicking off at 12pm.
Pep Cipriano, Business Improvement Manager at Peterborough Positive, said – “The BID team are working hard behind the scenes to ensure this first event is a success for both businesses and visitors to the city centre.
"We're looking forward to providing further entertainment and activities for all ages in the coming months.”
Mark Broadhead, Chair of Peterborough Positive, added – “Parents often struggle to find free activities for their children over Easter Weekend and we’re excited to be organising this fun spectacle in the heart of our city centre. The BID is working on various projects to help make our city centre a destination and creating events is one of the BID’s main priorities.”
