It’s time to embrace the diverse range of cultures in Peterborough with a fantastic two-day multicultural festival event taking place in the city.
The festival, which looks to draw visitors from all walks of life, has been organised by 22 groups from black and minority ethnic communities across Peterborough and will be a wonderful celebration of Peterborough’s diversity, with great displays of sights, sounds and tasty treats!
The event starts this Friday July 3 with a classical music performance by a variety of community groups at St. Johns Baptist Church on Church Street, Peterborough, starting at 6pm until 9.30pm. More fun and festivities take place on Saturday July 4 when Cathedral Square comes alive with folk dance, drama, music, arts, craft and food stalls.
The multicultural festival marks the start of Peterborough’s cultural event season celebrating different cultures within the city through music, food and fun.
Below is a list of what you can expect in the next few months and for more info about these events and others, check out their website www.peterborough.gov.uk.
