The St Kyneburgha Festival in Castor is celebrating its 22nd year in action this weekend from Friday July 5 to Sunday July 7.
This event is packed with loads of exciting things to do and it all kicks off with a party!
On Friday July 5, the brilliant Motor City Vipers will have you up on the dance floor all night with their Motown and Northern Soul hits from the 60s and 70s.
Who doesn’t love a bit of soul music? Gates open at 7pm and tickets for the Friday night are £15 each and include: a two course meal provided by Willowbrook Farm, bubbles bar, silent auction and raffle.
The Saturday sees the Festival Fete and Family Feast from 2-6pm. The day will be full of stalls, tea & cake, a barbecue, stone baked pizzas, live music, traditional swing boats, a children’s entertainer.
All of this topped off with the popular village Tug-o-War and happy hour at the bar (5-6pm) – make sure you don’t miss that one!
All money raised will go to the historic St Kyneburgha Church, the Village Hall and CASPRA.
