Here’s your chance to shake some Bollywood moves of your own…

To celebrate Vivacity and Phizzical’s co-production of Bring on the Bollywood at the Key Theatre (Thursday August 24 – Saturday August 26) the cast of Bring on the Bollywood will be descending on Peterborough a day early, contributing to Vivacity’s health and fitness offer with a special edition one-off South Asian inspired Bollywood Zumba class.

Bring on the BollyZumba is a high intensity, full body workout which:

  1. Burns calories fast, helping with weight loss

  2. Helps build muscle tone (especially core strength)

  3. Is dance-led, set to upbeat Bollywood music meaning you can get fit whilst having fun.

Director of Phizzical Sâmir Bhamra says: “Bring on the Bollywood is a show that gives people a ‘taste of India’ with real Bollywood actors, singers and dancers live on stage. What the Bring on the BollyZumba fitness class offers is something for people who aren’t just content to sit back and watch but who want something extra and like to get involved. It’s a really fun class for people who care a lot about their fitness but want to try out something new.

“It takes place at the Key Theatre the night before our first show too so people can come down, try out some of these dance routines to get fit and then come back and see some of what they’ve been learning in action on the stage. A real chance to say ‘I can do that!’”

The class, which takes place in the Key Theatre Studio at 7pm on Wednesday August 23, has very limited spaces, with over half sold already, and is available exclusively to book online. To book, head to or book through the Vivacity Premier Fitness section of the Vivacity App.

Bring on the Bollywood is a classic East meets West rom-com designed to be accessible for audiences from all backgrounds and age groups. As such, the cast will also be visiting Peterborough Central Library between the hours of 2pm – 4pm on Wednesday August 23 running drop in workshops for families on Bollywood make up, how to tie a sari as well as some Indian folklore storytelling. Head to the website for more information.

Tickets are selling fast for Bring on the Bollywood. Book online at or call the Key Theatre Box Office on 01733 207239.
