Actor’s after dinner speech should be a blockbuster at Peterborough Cathedral banquet…
Film and food fans will be excited about a great event coming up at Peterborough Cathedral which will see a fabulous dining experience accompanied by an after dinner speech by none other than the legendary actor and raconteur, Brian Blessed OBE.
The Christmas Banquet is a black tie event in the stunning cathedral nave on Thursday December 7 and includes a a four course candlelit dinner. The evening will start with a Prosecco reception under the tower and members of the Cathedral Choir will sing carols and festive music.
Brian Blessed will speak at the end of the evening, sharing larger-than-life stories from his hugely eventful career. He’s not only an actor on stage, film and TV, but has also climbed Mount Everest three times, survived a plane crash in the Venezuelan jungle and written six books. The latest of these is his autobiography, Absolute Pandemonium, published by Pan Macmillan in 2015.
