If you are already looking for some summer entertainment for the kids look no further than this new holiday club. Make sure you book quick!
There’s a new history themed holiday club coming to the city from July 31 to August 11, and again from August 14 to August 25. Ages 8-13 years can become ‘Time Explorers’ by joining this fun-packed programme based at Peterborough Cathedral.
Archery to defend the castle, building super strong structures, making gruesome grotesques and marvellous medicines, preparing a fabulous feast to serve in a medieval hall, sports, stories, medieval movie-making are just a few of the exciting activities you will be getting up to.
Alex Carton, Schools and Families Officer at the Cathedral, who’s leading the programme with her team says, “I am really excited about this programme. It’s going to be fun to share some of the more weird and wonderful aspects of life in times gone by with young explorers who have lots of imagination and energy. I can’t wait for Time Explorers to get started!”
If you’d like to book or find out more contact Alex Carton or Judi Horspole on 01733 355307 or email hla@peterborough-cathedral.org.uk
