If you love 80s star Toyah and also like a bit of Las Vegas life this charity event probably has your name on it!
Toyah is the headline act at the ‘Las Vegas Cabaret Night’ – this year’s theme for the third annual fundraiser organised by the local committee of children’s charity Action Medical Research.
“I was invited to perform last year,” says Toyah. “It was a fantastic event, really well organised and the guests were really into it.
“I’m delighted to be back in Cambridgeshire on March 20 and can’t wait to help bring a bit of Vegas to Peterborough!”
As well as welcome drinks, a three course meal, a fun casino and live music from Peterborough-based The Latiesha Maria Band, there will also be a couple of guest stars supporting Toyah.
All round entertainer Bobby Davro will be taking to the stage! The TV comedian, impressionist and singer will add a bit of Vegas sparkle and the magician Paul Martin will be playing host and wowing guests with his amazing skills. Paul’s entertained celebrities and royalty with his unique brand of comedy and interactive mindreading and will perform some of his favourite tricks.
Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people.
The Las Vegas Cabaret Night is being held at the Holiday Inn West on Friday March 20. Tickets are £80 each (with tables of 10 for £750) and can be bought online at www.amr-peterborough.co.uk/las-vegas-cabaret-night
