Summer just got bigger: Titanosaur is to stay at Peterborough Cathedral throughout the summer holidays!
Titanosaur will remain on display throughout the summer, giving visitors even more opportunity to encounter one of the largest creatures ever to walk the Earth in the breathtaking surroundings of the Cathedral.
Following a hugely successful spring season and an overwhelming response from over 20,000 visitors, the full-scale cast of Patagotitan mayorum, on loan from London’s Natural History Museum, will remain on display until September.

Stretching approximately 37 metres in length, Titanosaur offers a rare chance to stand beside one of the largest dinosaurs ever discovered, set against the remarkable backdrop of the Cathedral’s magnificent architecture.

Visitors this summer will also be able to enjoy Titanosaur alongside two major exhibitions taking place at the Cathedral over the coming weeks:
From June 3, The Longest Yarn II: Britain at War, a spectacular knitted display representing life during WW2 will be on display in the Cathedral. Entry to view The Longest Yarn II is by donation, and you can also see Titanosaur as part of your visit.

Then, from July 18, the Cathedral welcomes Travelling Bricks, an exhibition made of over
1 million LEGO® bricks celebrating creativity, engineering and imagination with an inspiring interactive building and soft play area. Titanosaur will be included within the ticket price for Travelling Bricks, offering visitors the chance to enjoy both exhibitions in one visit.

Head of Marketing and Communications at Peterborough Cathedral, Paul Stainton said:
"More than 20,000 people have already stood in awe beneath Titanosaur, and the impact has been felt far beyond the Cathedral walls. We've seen visitors travelling from across the country, helping drive footfall into the city centre and supporting local businesses.
"With Titanosaur now staying for the summer alongside The Longest Yarn II and Travelling Bricks, we're creating an incredible programme of attractions that offers something for every generation.
"This is shaping up to be the biggest summer Peterborough Cathedral has ever delivered and one of the most exciting summers the city centre has seen in recent years."
