The latest addition to the Peterborough dining out scene has got off to a cracking start…
Bill’s opened on Monday (February 9) on Church Street. ESP popped along for dinner and thought it was absolutely fantastic.
The restaurant is a beautiful transformation of the old Lakeland shop and we’re loving the styling complete with chandeliers and cosy corners with leather armchairs and a vintage vibe.
The food and staff were brilliant and gave really fast and friendly service so you can bet we’ll be back there soon!
The award winning Bill’s Restaurant is open from early in the morning for breakfast, throughout the day and into the evening for dinner.
They have a big focus on food that’s fresh and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. So whether it’s an early morning coffee and bowl of porridge, through to a candlelit dinner and a decent glass of wine to mark the end of the day this is another venue well worth a visit.
Bill Collison, founder of Bill’s says – “With plenty of cosy booths and larger sharing tables for gatherings and celebrations, we are hoping we’ll be a hit with the locals in this pretty city.
“I think what makes us a bit different is the effort we put into everything, from the menus and staff training, to me picking bits and pieces up from auctions and antique fairs to give the restaurant a really welcoming feel. Bill’s has a real bustle during the day and then, come the evening, we get the candelabras glowing and it’s a really different vibe.”
We think it’s great that the dining out quarter in and around Cathedral Square has really flourished and with the recent opening of the popular Argo Lounge, the addition of Bill’s is another step forward.
Bill’s is open 8am -11pm Monday – Saturday and from 9am – 10.30pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
