July is Independent Retailer Month and Westgate Arcade in Queensgate Shopping Centre has two fabulous events for shoppers to enjoy.

On Saturday July 2 Miranda Maraca, Federico Flappalot & the Carnival Queen are bringing the Carnival to Westgate Arcade with a Saturday of Samba and celebration about the centre.
Find them roaming Westgate Arcade with maracas in their hands, rhythm in their feet and feathers (or fruit!) in their hair. So, get your glad-rags on, get a selfie and get in the conga line to join the fiesta!
At the end of the month on Saturday July 30 they’ll be back with plenty of prizes to give away.
Roll up roll up to the Hilarious Human Fruit Machine! Hosts Miranda Maraca & the Carnival Queen will be back at Westgate Arcade to see if they can make you a winner.
Step inside the machine to decide the fortune of another by selecting the fruit of fortune, step to the side to become the One Armed Bandito who sets the machine in motion, step forward to play… and if you get three of a kind you’ll be one of the lucky winners.
Expect shoulder shimmies, dance celebrations and the occasional song to lift your day and everyone’s spirits.
