Stamford resident Ray Jones is well known in London as a huge champion of new talent. His company TALENTBANQ proudly represent over 60 of the top independent artists in the UK.
One of his dearest passions is bringing raw talent to new audiences, especially those who normally consume their music via downloads and YouTube. His belief is that you just have to see it live to feel music properly – and so now is your chance to see some extraordinary talent live in Stamford!
TALENTBANQ showcases this year have included famous venues such as The Jazz Cafe, The Hard Rock and The Marquee Club. And, through a chance meeting right here in Stamford, that impressive list now includes The Corn Exchange.
On Friday September 21, TALENTBANQ will present five of London and Manchester’s hottest rising-stars including a red-hot band fronted by Stamfordian Harry Preen.
In line with the passionate ethic of making great live music accessible to all, tickets are just £15, but with a unique reduction for all under 26’s to just £10 to ensure everyone gets the chance to get involved with this epic evening of artists.
As The Corn Exchange seeks to offer a varied programme with the broadest appeal, it’s great to see a local yet London promoter bringing such high-quality talent to the town and showcasing such gifted and powerful artists.
One of the evening’s artists, Joe Slater, says – “It’s not about the past, it’s all about the future. Real music is about passion and feeling.”
