SUE RYDER STARLIGHT HIKE YOUR WAY

This year we’re being invited to take part in Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Your Way in October, with hikers creating their own 10k walk in memory of someone special.

The event usually brings hundreds of people together for a walk under the stars to celebrate loved ones and raise vital funds, but after two years of cancellations in Peterborough due to severe weather, the charity’s now looking for a new location.

In the meantime, Starlight Hike Your Way means that no one misses out on the chance to help raise vital funds for Sue Ryder’s expert end-of-life care and grief support.

Nick Burr, Regional Senior Fundraiser for Sue Ryder, said: “Starlight Hike Your Way is a special opportunity for people to remember someone important to them in a way that feels personal. Whether you walk with friends, family, colleagues or on your own, through a favourite park or along a familiar path, every step and every pound raised will matter.”

It’s free to register, and everyone who signs up will receive a walker pack to help them get started.
