The team at Michael John hair salon are certainly doing it in style – Kris Bird, co owner has just won through to the regional finals of Wella TREND VISION awards for Colour category.
Kris, a Master Colour Expert said – “It still gives me a buzz competing and keeps you bang up to date with current fashion trends.”
Also through to the Wella TREND VISION AWARDS is Amy Verrall winning through in the Young Talent category. Amy has been with Michael John since leaving school and is now an Artistic Designer with some 10 years experience, Amy is a key member of the new MJHA CREW (A new artistic team of talented young stylists created by Michael John).
Also making a name for herself is Katey Lorimer a new member of the MJHA CREW who’s won a place in the national finals of the WELLA EXPOSURE competition for NVQ Level 2 & 3 students.
Katie did a 3 toned, red coloured Bob Cut & Style and said – “It’s my first time competing in the competition and I’m absolutely thrilled to bits to get into the finals. I’d like to say a very special thank you to both Mick and Kris for helping make my dreams a reality.”
