Only a few tickets remain for a Strictly show-stopping night for the NSPCC’s Peterborough Business Support Group.
The Group’s bringing all the glitz of the ballroom to the city next month with an exclusive performance by Strictly Come Dancing professionals James and Ola Jordan.
The pair have been lined up to dance into the spotlight with a dazzling display of Latin dances at the ‘Strictly Showtime’ dinner on Friday May 17.
The Holiday Inn West, Thorpe Wood, Peterborough is the venue for the black tie event, which will consist of a drinks reception, three course dinner and a Q&A with James and Ola after they’ve performed.
For those who wish to upgrade to a VIP ticket, James and Ola will be hosting a meet and greet with champagne and canapés in a private area. The dancing stars will be photographed with the VIP guests who will receive a souvenir photograph as a keepsake from the evening. This VIP reception is restricted to 50 guests.
Joining Strictly favourite Ola and husband James at the event will be ‘The Boys from Jersey’ who will sing the Frankie Valli hits from the popular West End Show, The Jersey Boys.
A range of luxury items have been generously donated for an auction and raffle on the night – prizes include an iPad mini, Barclays ATP semi-finals tickets and a meal for two with overnight stay at The George Hotel in Stamford.
Strictly Showtime Dinner is the second of two star-studded events the charity has been organising during the first half of 2013. On March 21, the Group hosted a gala dinner with television presenter Paul Ross, with a special guest appearance from Olympic gymnast and Strictly 2012 winner Louis Smith. Louis danced with Ola Jordan recently in the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.
Organiser Carol Bunning told ESP – “We are delighted to be attracting such high profile guests to our events. Their help enables us to continue raising money for the NSPCC which supports the invaluable work they do in our region.
“With Strictly Come Dancing so popular I’m sure James and Ola have plenty of local fans who would love to see them dancing for real.”
Tickets are priced at £70 or £650 for a table of 10. VIP tickets are priced at £90 or £900 for a table of 10.
