There’s more free street entertainment coming to Peterborough this weekend as the Unlocking Peterborough festival reaches its finale.
Head into the city centre to catch some incredible performances from Octo featuring amazing aerial acrobatics followed by the illuminated drummers Spark!
On Saturday December 18 there will be three Octo performances between 2pm and 4.30pm.
Octo is a huge structure made of eight fabric rods that expand and contract.
Fluctuations in air pressure lift an aerial acrobatic performer into the air. If you saw the amazing LOVEART performance that kicked off Unlocking Peterborough in October this will be a similar performance.

Then on Sunday December 19, Octo return to perform three times once again this time between 1pm and 4pm. Immediately after each act they will be followed by Spark! a street theatre show that combines energising, professional drumming with visually arresting costume design, which illuminates at night.
Spark! performers will engage with the audiences and are never forgotten once seen.
