Get ready to hit the beach as the annual SRG Beach 7s event returns to Peterborough Rugby Club bigger and better to kick start your summer.
This amazing day of all things rugby will see plenty of action on the pitch on Saturday June 9 with the Ricky Fever 7’s Elite Cup, the Insurewise Social 7s Cup, Martha James Women’s 7s Cup and the CliniSupplies Touch Cup.
One of the star attractions is the Rugby Legends Game 18 featuring ex pro’s and local legends all playing in a game to raise funds for the Matt Hampson Foundation plus the UK Wheelchair 7s team will be giving demonstrations and will have a host of wheelchairs for people to give wheelchair rugby a go.
It’s a great day out for all the family with the Teach Rex team and their dinosaur set to be a huge added attraction. Along with their amazingly realistic pet dino the team will transport the kids (and big kids!) back to a time when dinosaurs ruled the earth!
After the sports action it’s time for the full moon UV after party ‘til late with House DJ’s playing awesome Ibiza tunes in the sunshine.
This year they’re going all out to get you in the summer mood with a Hawaiian fancy dress theme for all the players and fans, so get your grass skirts on and get ready to hula!
As well as stalls and stands, the SRG Elite Store, UV body painting (good for the after party) as well as children’s entertainment, rides, face painting and ice cream.
Sounds like they’ve organised another top weekend of great rugby and great entertainment so get those Hawaiian shirts on and pre-book tickets for £2 or it’s £3 on the gate or a tenner for a family pass.
