This month sees the biggest disability sporting event Peterborough has ever seen as Sporting Saturday takes over the Cresset.
The free event is all inclusive and is designed to showcase the wealth of inclusive and disability sport Peterborough has to offer.
It’ll feature a huge range of activities including football, darts, cricket, golf, wheelchair basketball, football, rowing, gym equipment, special Olympics, Boccia, seated exercise, race runners (stand up bikes), dance, Zumba, boxing, judo, Tai Chi, para ice hockey and much, much more!
It’s all happening on Saturday February 9 when Inspire Peterborough, Disability Peterborough, The Mobility Aids Centre, Amilly fitness, Oak Activities and friends are taking over the Cresset for the biggest disability sporting event yet! Whether you’re go along to meet the Mayor, get disability advice, the chance to win Olympic-style medals or try out many different sports activities you’ll be in awe at what’s on offer.
There’ll be special guests as well as a market place of local health and wellbeing information and community groups.
