The sun shone for the Festival Field Day in Central Park and Face of ESP Simona Bajorinaite went along to support Peterborough Arts Fest!

Hundreds of families visited Central Park to catch some great Covent Garden street entertainers, outdoor movie screenings, displays, workshops, have-a-go sessions and family fun as part of the Peterborough Arts Fest which is on tour throughout August.

Simona said – “The entertainers were great and I really liked the Sergeant Majors! Everyone seemed to be having a fantastic free day in the sun.
“I’m now looking forward to the finale weekend and all the entertainment on the Embankment – and the huge lantern parade in the city centre looks like it’ll be really impressive!”

Organised by Vivacity the city’s culture and leisure trust, Peterborough Arts Fest continues through until September 8.
On Friday September 6 the spectacular Upon This Rock: Lantern Parade will see Cathedral Square lit up by hundreds of lanterns along with some stunning, some giant creations in a performance of light, colour and sound you’ll be amazed by.

Then don’t miss Le Fete Franglais on the Embankment on Saturday September 7 and Sunday September 8 for some fabulous acts and entertainment as the Arts Fest draws to a close – and the fabulous evening performance by Generik Vapeur on Saturday September 7 – it’s like nothing you’ve seen before!
