ROMANS READY TO INVADE FLAG FEN

Are you ready to do battle at Flag Fen this Easter?

Don’t miss a very special event at Flag Fen on Saturday April 19 – Monday April 21, 10am-5pm – Roman Invasion!

Enjoy an action-packed day out as they transport you back 2,000 years in time to meet the Romans! See fights between gladiators, drill with the army, try family craft activities and dig for artefacts.

Admission’s £7 adults, £5 concessions and £18 for families. There’s no need to book – just drop-in!

Flag Fen Archaeology Park gives you the chance to discover what life was like for our prehistoric ancestors at the finest Bronze Age archaeological site in Northern Europe. Wander through a Bronze Age village, sit within the reconstructed roundhouses, meet the newborn Soay lambs, and stand where our ancestors once stood on the ritual causeway.

See the stunning range of ancient objects found on the site, including weapons, jewellery and even England’s oldest wheel!

Plus take a guided tour to discover the prehistoric Must Farm boats, recently discovered in nearby Whittlesey, and currently being conserved at Flag Fen.
