ROALD DAHL’S GIANT PEACH ENTERTAINS AT HALF TERM IN QUEENSGATE

Hundreds of children enjoyed tales from Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes last week as Queensgate Shopping Centre hosted free family fun activities – in a giant peach!

On Wednesday 22 February, mums, dads and grandparents whisked the little ones off to the centre for adventures, magical tales and story-telling from one of children’s most famous and loved authors.

Centre Director at Queensgate Shopping Centre, Mark Broadhead popped his head in on one of the story-telling slots and said: “The characters were brilliant and really brought the tales to life, much to the amazement of dozens of eyes fixed on the narrator. The feedback has been wonderful and many saying it was a thankful break during the half term period.”

Sessions were completely free and lasted approximately 20 minutes. Future events at Queensgate can be found at www.queensgate-shopping.co.uk

It’s all going on at Queensgate, Peterborough
