RIVA MOVES TO EYE

Italian restaurant Riva has announced the location of its new home.

Having moved out of the Key Theatre building at the end of March, the independent eatery will be opening for business at the beginning of May from Peterborough Road, Eye, the building previously occupied by Toscanini Restaurant.

Owner Chris Falco told ESP – “Moving out of The Key Theatre was a time of mixed emotions; sad to be drawing a line under four wonderful years there, but excited to be moving on to bigger and better things.  This move gives us a wonderful building with a rich history dating back to the late 19th century.  It allows us to offer our dining experience to a larger number of customers but still providing an intimate ambience.  We are just three miles from our old location, literally a five minute drive from the city centre.”

The business has built a large and very loyal customer base, and points to its independence, unique menu and attention to customer service as reasons for its growing success over the last four years.

Chris added – “We are excited to at last be the sole occupants of our premises, allowing us to make it whatever we want it to be.  The free car parking is an added bonus.  We believe Riva can now offer customers our ‘true taste of Italy’ without the hassle of trekking into the city centre.”

The official launch date will be announced soon on www.riva-restaurant.co.uk
